Credit, on the record.

Copyright protects formal works. It ignores the “trivial” culture that actually moves the internet: a dance, a phrase, a sound, a meme. Those get lifted, re-packaged, and re-attributed to whoever has the bigger platform, and the person who came first disappears from the record. Feat Node exists to keep that record.

The one law

Authority is the earliest evidenced instance. Reach is recorded, but reach is never authoritative. The system actively counter-biases against digital footprint, so a well-documented popularizer can’t re-erase a low-footprint originator.

How it works

1. You record a concept and who is credited, with dated evidence. Every submission becomes an immutable, hash-chained event: the ledger is append-only, so history can’t be quietly rewritten.
2. Those events are projected into a graph of entities and concepts. The graph is fully rebuildable from the event log, so it can never silently drift from the truth.
3. The Perspective reads that graph: earliest originator vs. loudest popularizer, and the gap between them. Origin is a registry-red stamp, reach is a carbon-copy blue: the colours themselves carry the thesis.

This is Phase 0: a walking skeleton. No automated evidence agents, public-chain anchoring, or crowd verification yet; those are on the roadmap. Today it proves the spine works end to end.
